Everyday Function is a static reference site. It has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no analytics. This page explains the few things that involve your data so you can decide with full information.

What the site collects

Nothing is collected by the site itself. There are no advertising or analytics scripts and no tracking cookies. The pages are plain files served by the hosting provider, which, like any web host, may keep ordinary technical server logs (such as the address of the request and the time) for security and reliability. The editors do not use those logs to identify visitors.

Fonts

The pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's font servers when a page opens. Google describes its own handling of those requests in its privacy information. If you prefer to avoid this, your browser will fall back to the fonts already on your device and the pages remain readable.

Small preferences in your browser

If you dismiss the suggestion bar on the home page, your browser may remember that choice on your device only. It is never sent anywhere. The checklist on the home page is not saved at all.

The contact form

The form on the contact page does not send anything to this site. It opens your own email program with the message filled in, and what you send is then handled by your email provider and the recipient's. Please do not include personal health details. Messages are used only to correct or improve pages.

Pages cite public sources such as health agencies and universities. When you follow one, you leave this site and that site's own privacy rules apply. You can read how pages are sourced in the editorial standards, or return to the overview of what occupational therapy is.
